A record pool can call itself unlimited on its home page and still set a limit in its terms, so read the terms before you subscribe. At Bangerz Army, downloads come with a monthly allowance that resets on the 1st of each month at midnight UTC.

How do I compare record pool limits?

Each record pool sets its limits in its terms, and they differ from one offer to the next: how many tracks per period, and what counts as a download. Read them before you compare prices.

For a DJ who preps gigs week by week, a monthly allowance is rarely noticeable. You notice it when you want to download everything at once.

What counts as a download?

At Bangerz Army:

• Each file you download counts as one, whether you download it alone or in a zip.
• Downloading a track you already have again counts as a new download.

Good habit: keep a backup of your library on a drive or in the cloud. You won't have to download everything again when you change computers.

When does the allowance reset?

On the 1st of each month, at midnight UTC. In the US that is 7 p.m. Eastern on the last day of the month in winter, 8 p.m. in summer. The reset doesn't depend on the date you subscribed.

Can I download everything at once?

You can download a whole crate as a zip with the Download all button. Only one zip is prepared at a time: wait for the first one to finish before you start the next. Every file in the zip counts against your monthly allowance.

When do downloads stop?

• If your subscription is paused, you can't download during the pause.
• If a payment fails, downloads stop right away. You get three email reminders over about three weeks to update your card.
• If you cancel, your access runs to the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. See Do I keep my tracks if I cancel my subscription?.
